NEW September 2026 — the domain is mine again.
This was the first domain I ever purchased. Screen name GTWY. Originally registered in 1999 so we could post MIDI files, GIFs, walkthroughs, and generally have a website dedicated to Zelda. I was 12.
It has been 26 years since the registration expired. I've done my best to put this site back how I remember the original design to be. Sadly no data survived.

I was feeling nostalgic, so I put together a list of my favorite N64 games.

Just bought a Switch 2 with a Pro Controller
so I can play the Ocarina of Time remake that is coming out
5 November 2026. Full circle. 1998 cartridge, 1999 domain, 2026 hardware.
Fan-transcribed Ocarina of Time MIDI sequences from The Midi Shrine, the same kind of files we hosted in 1999. Originally composed by Koji Kondo. Hey! Listen!
I am curious if Mark, Josh, Andrew, or Mike from the original ZeldaFiles.com project are still out there somewhere.
I believe Josh was a buddy of mine from Hawaii. I think that Mark was “Mark the Man” from Halifax, Nova Scotia. I can't remember who Mike was — the May 2000 news was signed Mike, and Michael Cooney did the fourth layout. Maybe the same guy.
Shout-out to TheAmazingXemo as well. He wasn’t on ZeldaFiles — that was later, the Half-Life 2 thing in 2003.

The Millenia of Zelda — one of the many Zelda sites that inspired me as a kid. Still in the GeoCities archive. Credit Garrett (The Sage of Light).
Everything Zelda 64 — from 1998. Lots of content, but the best pages are Top Secrets and Hidden Items. Credit Mattspeed.
Cyber Predator’s Zelda64 Collection — from 1999/2000. Lots of detailed content on different parts of the game. Credit Cyber Predator.
BlueMoon’s Banjo-Kazooie page and his Ice Key page. I remember him. I had those pages too — Banjo-Kazooie, and a whole shrine to the Ice Key. His are on the Wayback machines. Mine are not.
The domain was registered in 1999. Alexa didn’t crawl us until 20 May 2000 — that’s a late snapshot of a later redesign, not proof we weren’t live. The original homepage looked a lot more like this one. What Wayback kept is the fourth layout, by Mike Cooney:
News, Forums, Fan Center, Staff. Poll: “Are you getting Zelda VI?” Affiliate: Zelda Heaven. © 2000.
I will be digging through my old archives and posting more content if I find it — memories of old gamer friends from long ago. If you were there: sign the guestbook. Contact info goes to me only.
A few years after this domain: I was sixteen, Valve got hacked, and TheAmazingXemo and I put up a website because we were mad Half-Life 2 might not come out. FBI, AIM, a log, a DoS. That’s a whole other page.
